js me talking about movies(i love traumatizing ones)

10/10 honestly i love this movie. i wouldn't have watched it if it weren't for the song by everyone's worried about owen, but im glad i did. i had also been introduced to jim carrol's music cuz of suicide squad 2. the movie is so fucking emotionally impactful. ur js rooting for jim to get better the whole time. it rlly shows how drugs ruin ur life and proves the saying nobody grows up wanting to b a crackhead. u js feel for everyone the entire time. jim's writing is poetic and contributes to the emotions of the movie. also i love reggie. it's rlly an emotional roller coaster that i highly reccomend

9/10 this movie has gotta b one of the weirdest fucking things i've every fucking seen. but that's what makes it intriguing. like i never expected to watch a movie about some weird ass deviant art fetish, but i did. i like how the movie rlly has a moral grey area. the women r consenting to a practice that they know is gonna kill them. it kinda remoinds me of the heart attack grill. also alex o laughlin dancing to itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini lives rent free in my head (i've had that song stuck in my head for about a month straight) i think it rlly highlightd where our governments fail us sometimes and the weird ass shit that's going on js under our noses. hell maybe one day u'll stumble on some weird ass fetish website and uncover a whole fucking mystery cuz of it. i like how they were able to turn such and outlandish thing into a compelling mystery that didn't rlly rely on the insanity of the fetish. as a fan of lost media and internet mysteries it's safe to say i'm a fan of this film

11/10 ig i should start off by saying i fucking love malcolm mcdowell. he's js rlly fucking cute. i rlly like this movie tho. it has a rlly circular feel to it. i like the philosophical and moral questions it raises about reform. it also hits different after having being psychwarded and while not the same does make a difference. obviously it's not for everyone especially if ur sensitive to sa or suicide or js violence in general. i'm rlly fucking desensitised (idt that's a good thing but oh well) so i do find it an enjoyable. i love the cinematography. there's a lot of zooms pull in/outs that emphasize the emotions and demeanors of the characters. the symbolism of bethoven is also great. i fucking love malcolm mcdowell as an actor, not only because he's cute, but he does an incredible job in his role as delinquent despite (to my knowledge) being an incredibly kind person irl. i think this was a rlly good casting choice considering him playing a somewhat similar in his debut film if.... (1968) (yes i will review that eventually i js gotta watch it again). he both films he plays a young delinquent, but he's justified for his actions (from what i remember, i'll change this if i realized that im wrong) in if.... in a clockwork orange he absolutely is not. i think both films make u question the system. while i might be biased towards this (im an anarchist) i rlly like this theme. i personally can attest to the mental health system in the us not being the greatest (there's def some good places tho that i was lucky enough to go to) tho i can't attest to anything british or related to the prison system, but governments r governments. no matter how u frame it they js want money and power. i'm getting sidetracked but i like a clockwork orange because it rlly makes u question all angles of the system. no matter what side ur on ur gonna b biased. im biased. i try to b self aware but i still am. even if u don't want a message or anything, the singing in the rain scene is iconic (maybe cuz i js rlly like his singing) like sa is bad and all (i've never been to that level thank god, but i have mildly been and it's not fun) but i rlly do love that scene. like it's rlly fucking good (minus the sa ofc). it's def not for the even mildly faint of heart (somehow not the most fucked up movie i've ever seen) but it is a classic i think everyone that is mentally prepared should watch at somepoint.
